voicing His Government's Firm Confidence In The Present Awami League Government, British Prime Minister David Cameron Said They Would Work Together With Bangladesh For Ensuring Its Socioeconomic Development. Cameron Made The Assurance When Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Had A Meeting With Him At 10 Downing Street In London Yesterday. The British Government's Confidence In The Current Bangladesh Government Has Been Expressed Strongly During The Talks, Pm's Press Secretary Akm Shamim Chowdhury And Foreign Secretary Shahidul Haque Told Reporters After The Meeting. Cameron, Said The Foreign Secretary, Highly Praised The Achievements And Successes Of Bangladesh, Especially The Attainment Of Mdgs Under The Able Leadership Of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Said Her Government Is Addressing Child Marriage Problem In A Holistic Manner Leading It From The Front Against Significant Opposition From Religion-based Political Parties Such As Bangladesh Jamaat-e-islami. This Party Also Opposed Bangladesh’s National Women Development Policy 2011 And Threatened To Scrap It, She Said While Addressing A High-level Session Of The First-ever Girl Summit 2014 At Walworth Academy In London Yesterday. Stressing That A Bold And Secular Political Commitment Is Extremely Important In Tackling A Socially Sensitive Challenge Like Child Marriage, Prime Minister Said Poverty Reduction, Ensuring Education And Creating Job Opportunities Can Naturally Reduce Child Marriage.
