prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Has Accused Bnp Chairperson Khaleda Zia Of Masterminding The 2009 Bdr Mutiny As The Former Premier Had Gone Into Hiding From Her Secured Cantonment Residence Hours Before The Massacre. The Prime Minister Was Addressing A Programme At Her Office Yesterday To Distribute Financial Aid To Sick, Insolvent And Injured Journalists, And Family Members Of Those Killed In Various Incidents. During The February 25-26 Mutiny, Some 73 People, Including 57 Army Officials, Were Killed. The Government Renamed Bangladesh Rifles As Border Guard Bangladesh Two Years Later. The Pm Said The Government Tackled The Mutiny, Provided Grants To Victims’ Families And Also Tried The Accused. In The Pilkhana Carnage Case, The Court Sentenced 846 Bdr Personnel. Of Them, 152 Were Awarded Capital Punishment And 161 Life Term While The Rest On Different Terms. Others Walked Free.

the Government Yesterday Launched A Project To Prepare Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100, A Massive Roadmap To Ensure A Sustainable Delta Management By Properly Dealing With Issues Like Climate Change, Water Management, Food Security And Economic Growth In The Next 50 To 100 Years. The Plan Is Expected To Be Ready By Fiscal Year 2015-16. The Project Will Also Sketch A Framework For Implementation Of The Roadmap With An Elaborate Investment Plan For Short-, Medium-, And Long-term Interventions, Said The Project Director Mafidul Islam To The Launching Ceremony At The Planning Commission In The Capital Yesterday.
