prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Has Directed The Railways Ministry To Conduct A Survey To Measure The Railway Land Lying Illegally Occupied In Different Parts Of The Country. The Directive Was Given During A Regular Weekly Cabinet Meeting At Bangladesh Secretariat With The Premier In The Chair Yesterday. The Cabinet Approved In Principle The Draft Of 'the Railway Property (unlawful Possession) Act, 2014' And 'the Railway Security Force Act, 2014'. Both The Acts Were Ordinance Promulgated By Military Regimes In 1976 And 1979 Respectively. The Meeting Also Approved A Proposal On Signing A Memorandum Of Understanding (mou) With India To Prevent Human Trafficking And Rescue, Repatriate And Rehabilitate Such Victims Of Both Countries. The Mou Is Likely To Be Inked Between The Two Countries During The Indian Home Secretary's Three-day Visit To Dhaka That Begins Today.

prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Has Emphasised On Using The Huge Potentials Of Sea And Sea Resources Through Proper Management To Ensure Sustainable Development Of The Blue Economy. She Also Underscored The Marine-based Economic Activities And Management Of Sea And Its Resources Through ‘blue Economy’, Saying Such Activities Could Create New Horizon For The Development Of A Coastal Country Like Bangladesh. The Prime Minister Made The Observations While Inaugurating A Two-day “international Workshop On Blue Economy” At A Hotel In The Capital Yesterday.
